Dear All,
I have a Windows 2008 R2 的 srever, top with IIS, SQL services.
I have checked SQL, computer Attributes, but the MOM 2005 Agent has no basis for compuer Attributes found in the relevant Rule.
Will may be the problem?

問題:確時有安裝IIS,SQL服務,但是MOM 2005 始終偵測不到.

我有一台Windows 2008 R2 的srever,上面有IIS, SQL服務.

我有核對過SQL 的 computer Attributes, 但是MOM 2005 Agent始終無法依據compuer Attributes 查到相關的Rule.

請問可能是什麼問題?

圖示:電腦確時有 IIS, SQL 服務,但狀態列上沒有顯示., Rules裡只有Agent的rules.

圖示:核對Computer Attributes: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 此電腦確定有安裝SQL, 對且有相對應的Value.

解答:2010/04/01

Server A,B 解答說明:

A: MOM Server 2005 OS: windows 2003 R2 SP2 x86

B: SQL Server: Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64 + SQL 2005 SP3 x86

從 Server A Registry Editor 連到 Server B時,都是連到Wow6432Node 的目錄,但是registry Editor沒有顯示是連到x86 or x64的registry. 導致Server A or Server B 比對的資料始終不一致.

處理方法:到MOM Server 2005-->Managemnet Packs -->Computer Group->Microsoft SQL Server 2005 –>Include Computers 將Server B將入. 最後,MOM 2005 Agent 終於偵測到 SQL Server 2005了.

圖示說明:

1.從Server A(x86) 的Registry Editor 連到Server B, 不見SQL 2005 uninstall 值

memo:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\

2. 從Server B 本機查詢, Server B的Registry 與 Server A查到的Registry一模一樣.

x64
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{4AC23178-EEBC-4BAF-8CC0-AB15C8897AC9}

再查 x86的Registry, 確時有在HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Microsoft SQL Server 2005 有uninstall Registry.

沒辦法了,只有將Server B電腦名稱加到 include Computers裡.

Windows 2008 Sysprep 教學

Gary要重新包裝windows 2008 ，但必須將SID重新取得要怎麼做呢?
原來 Windows 2008 不用再安裝support Tool, sysprep.exe檔案就在 c:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe

只要勾選一般化(Generalize),再選Shutdown Options的選項. 若是你要做VMWARE的Source,就要選 Shutdown.

Perform bulk export tool ，Error: "Error in query: Please check query values. Query failed. The operation has timed out."

Dear All,

My MailArchiver has benn upgrade to 6.2 Build 20091214 .

I was using Bulk Export tool, Search large data, There is a message shaw “Error in query. Please check query values: QueryFailed. The opeartion has timed out.

I have modify .\MailArchiver\ASPNET\web.config to add <add key="CommandTimeout" value="1200" /> above <appSettings>

Search again, still has Query time out.

What can I do?

近日將Windows 2003 R2 SP2 DC +DNS 升級到 Windows 2008 R2後,遇到Root Hints 無法查詢到某些特定的網站. 請問大家有何建議:

近日將Windows 2003 R2 SP2 DC +DNS 升級到 Windows 2008 R2後,遇到Root Hints 無法查詢到某些特定的網站. 請問大家有何建議:

問題描述:
1.採用Root Hints的資料查不到某些網站的MX or A Recorders (如:rogers.com ), 倘若加入 Forwarders (168.95.1.1)就可以查的到.
2.Root Hints資料已向http://www.internic.net/zones/named.root 更新資料,確定Root Hints 正常工作.
3.此問題發生在一些特定網域名稱(如: msa.hinet.net 的mx records 與 rogers.com 的 A records 與 MX recorders.

MX recorders 查不到 (未使用Forwarders)

使用Forwarders (加入168.95.1.1) 再去查 rogers.com 的MX recorders, 它就出現了.

在windows 2008 R2設定好KMS功能,在Server端會有Event ID 12290訊息,在Client端出現12290訊息.

BDE error $210D $2501 + VISTA問題

BDE的問題解決了, 以往只有在用戶端的BDE Engine擴大memory, 但沒有指定SHAREDMEMLOCATION的值,只要把SHAREDMEMLOCATION設定後重開ERP系統,就解決啦..

Just for anybody who comes across this thread in the future, the solution to my problem was as follows:
Managed to get it to come up with the BDE engine error codes, $2501 and $210D
Did some searching and the fix was to set the SHAREDMEMLOCATION in the BDE administrator (configuration\system\init) to 0x5BDE (it's empty by default). It seems the default value isn't happy on Vista and even less so on Win7.
